JONATHAN SADOWSKI TO JOIN THE CAST OF $#*! MY DAD SAYS

New York, N.Y.,  July 27th, 2010.               Jonathan Sadowski ("Live Free or Die Hard") has joined the cast of the comedy, $#*! MY DAD SAYS, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 23 (8:30-9:00 p.m. ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Sadowski will play Henry Goodson, a struggling writer-turned-unpaid blogger, who moves in with his outspoken father Ed.

Sadowski's film credits include "She's the Man," "Live Free or Die Hard," "Friday the 13th" and "The Goods."  His television credits include starring roles on "Our Show," "Two Dollar Beer," "Courtroom K," "Miss/Guided" and a recurring role on "Sarah Connor Chronicles."

             $#*! MY DAD SAYS (pronounced "Bleep My Dad Says"), based on the popular Twitter feed by Justin Halpern, stars Emmy Award winner William Shatner as Ed Goodson, a forthright and opinionated dad who relishes expressing his unsolicited and often wildly politically incorrect observations to anyone within earshot.  Nobody is safe from Ed's rants, including his sons, Henry and Vince (Will Sasso), the meek half of a husband and wife real estate duo with domineering Kathleen (Nicole Sullivan).

WILLIAM BALDWIN TO GUEST-STAR OVER MULTIPLE-EPISODE ARC ON NBC’S RETURNING DRAMA‘PARENTHOOD’

Universal City, Ca., July 28th, 2010.                NBC announced that William Baldwin (“Dirty Sexy Money,” “Gossip Girl”) will join the cast of the network’s returning drama “Parenthood” (Tuesdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) for a multiple-episode arc.

Baldwin will be playing Gordon Flint, Adam’s (Peter Krause) wealthy, charismatic boss.  Gordon is content to let Adam do the grunt work of running the company, preferring to spend his time thinking about the “big picture.” A dedicated bachelor, Gordon’s romantic life is the polar opposite to Adam’s relationship with Kristina (Monica Potter). Gordon brings tension to the Braverman clan when he sets his sights on Adam’s sister, Sarah (Lauren Graham). 

Baldwin first gained recognition for his breakout performance in the feature film "Backdraft."  His other film credits include "The Squid & The Whale," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Adrift in Manhattan," Flatliners," "Internal Affairs," "Three of Hearts," "Primary Suspect" and "Born on the Fourth of July." Baldwin will lend his voice to the upcoming animated feature "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" as well as the soon-to-be-released "1 a Minute." 

On television, Baldwin recently starred in the critically-acclaimed "Dirty Sexy Money" and had a recurring role on last season’s "Gossip Girl."

“Parenthood” is a one-hour drama inspired by the box-office comedy hit of the same name that premiered last March.  The re-imagined and updated production introduces audiences to the large and colorful yet imperfect Braverman family, and features an all-star cast that includes Lauren Graham, Peter Krause, Monica Potter, Craig T. THE GUYS OF “GLEE” TO CO-HOST “TEEN CHOICE 2010” MONDAY, AUGUST 9, ON FOX

Los Angeles, Ca., July 27th, 2010.               The guys of GLEE – Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith and Mark Salling – will co-host TEEN CHOICE 2010 alongside pop sensation and multi-platinum recording artist Katy Perry. ERIC CHRISTIAN OLSEN JOINS THE CAST OF "NCIS: LOS ANGELES"

Los Angeles, Ca., July 27th, 2010.               After guest-starring last season as Los Angeles Police Detective Liaison Marty Deeks, Eric Christian Olsen will join NCIS: LOS ANGELES as a series regular.  Deeks, a seasoned LAPD undercover detective, was recruited to the NCIS team by Operations Manager Hetty Lange, played by Linda Hunt.  Olsen reprises his role in the special two-hour season premiere of the second season Tuesday, Sept. 21 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

CBS TO SPONSOR SIXTH DIVERSITY SKETCH COMEDY SHOWCASE

New York, N.Y.,  July 27th, 2010.               CBS will sponsor its sixth talent showcase for diverse sketch comedians in January 2011 in Los Angeles.  Executive producer and writer Rick Najera ("Mad TV," "Latinolouges" "Nothing Like The Holidays," "In Living Color") will again direct the showcase for CBS. 

            "The CBS Network is known as 'The Tiffany Network' and our showcases are known as the 'Rolls Royce' of showcases, featuring the dynamic duo of Rick Najera and Fern Orenstein, CBS VP Casting, who change actors' professional lives and provide them access to open doors within the entertainment industry," said Josie Thomas, CBS Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer.

A total of 72,219 fans from all 50 states and 26 countries attended the event, outdrawing Super Bowl XLII (71,101 attendance) in the same building.  WWE’s annual extravaganza was broadcast around the world on pay-per-view in more than 100 countries and 20 languages.

ABC DAYTIME PRESENTS NEW INSTALLMENT OF WHAT IF WEBISODE SERIES  

New York, N.Y., July 22nd, 2010.               In the fifth installment of ABC Daytime's new series, "What If," "All My Children's" supercouple, Angie and Jesse Hubbard (Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams), and "One Life to Live's" Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) will meet. When Angie and Jesse argue about a dry spell in the romance department, Starr reminds them what matters most in life. The new episode airs the week of JULY 26 on ABC.com, with cut-down-versions on ABC Daytime and SOAPnet.

The "What If" series answers the question, "What would happen if two characters from different soaps ran into each other, and what would they say?" In the 10-part series, viewers will see well-known characters from "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" interact with one another, and will be privy to their conversations. The webisodes will be derivative of the characters and their unique past, but are not related to current storylines. "One Life to Live's" executive producer, Frank Valentini, directed the series.

Preview clips will be available on abcmedianet.com every Wednesday prior to each Monday post day throughout the eight-week series. For example; clips of the fifth webisode premiering on Monday, July 26 will be available on Wednesday, July 21.

Justin Bieber to Make His Acting Debut in Season Premiere of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION

Los Angeles, Ca., July 22nd, 2010.               In his acting debut, multi-platinum singing sensation Justin Bieber will guest star in the season premiere of the CBS Television Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television series, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, on the CBS Television Network. 

            Bieber will play Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother-a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs.  It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season. 

        "Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world.  We'd like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture.  The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers.  This will be true event television," Executive Producers Carol Mendelsohn, Don McGill and Anthony Zuiker said in joint statement.  "We're looking forward to Justin's dramatic star turn, not only in the premiere, but in a continuing seasonal arc."

            Born in Stratford, Ontario, Justin Bieber is a multi-talented pop/R&B singer, and a self-taught musician on drums, guitar, piano and trumpet.   

            Bieber's video for "Baby" is currently the most-watched music video on YouTube with more than 250 million views.  Bieber is the first solo artist in history to send four songs from a debut album into the Billboard Hot 100's Top 40 prior to the album's release.  He is also the youngest male solo artist in the history of the Billboard 200 to chart a #1 album since 13-year-old Little Stevie Wonder in the summer of 1963. 

            In 2007, manager Scooter Braun brought 13-year old Justin to Atlanta, where he met multi-platinum superstar Usher.  Justin signed his first professional deal with RBMG, the joint-venture label formed by Usher and Braun with Antonio ‘L.A.' Reid, Chairman, Island Def Jam Music Group.
